A new film

I heard various things about a new film which will be created following this book. Tom Cruise is to star as Lestat... again. I know nothing more... Has anyone heard about this project? And what do you think about the idea?

I haven't heard about this. But I certainly support Cruise in the role of Lestat again, I can't think of anyone else who would be suitable for playing him. Where have you heard about this?

First I read it on wikipedia... I must admit. But it was everywhere on Blogs, sites... anyway, as I undertsand... it's in the project status... Nothing more.

Figures. So even if it's actually an active idea, we won't get it for another few years.

I doubt it will go ahead. With Anne's stance on her vampire-related publications nowadays, she'd never give it the go ahead.

But that would be such a shame... really.
