The Queen of the Damned Ball
Is anyone going to this year's ball? I wanted to go to New Orleans in that period but something came up and I decided to make another trip.
Has anyone been to this event?
Well... more information can be found here: http://www.myspace.com/lestempsdesvampires

I wish. No one here lives anywhere near Orleans. Perhaps in the future...

some day... night... that's all I say.
Stupid thing about me and New Orleans. I always have the impression I'm going to recognize places over there... where I haven't been before....

I know what you mean. Maybe there's some small apartment, covered in dust, moss and broken bricks just waiting for us to recognise it.

Re: The Queen of the Damned Ball
(smiles weakly) I wish.
My mother, another avid fan of the Anne Rice vampire chronicles, has always expressed a wish to visit New Orleans...
I promised I'd take her, but then the hurricane came.
After that, her wish to see the place seems to have faded. It'd be like staring at a book once complete, but now missing the pages.
